Surprise Visit

Eli had a few weeks off work and found out, on the sly, that his sister's band was stuck in L.A. Of course, it was because of the other crazy ginger in the band. It did mean Hexed was stuck in L.A. and the tour hadn't started yet. Devon was the one that gave him the address of the apartments where the musicians were staying while Rekker's incident was sorted out. Eli knew 'incident' meant the ginger had a glorious loss of temper control. While he liked Rekker, he also treated him like a wild animal. The man was likely to bite.

Of course, he pulled up in the lot without warning his sister he was coming at all. Driving did leave him exhausted and he's as eager to see Dee as he is to get a good night of rest. Sleeping in his car the night before didn't put him in the best mood but it's been way too long since he saw his big sister. Both of their busy lives kept them apart for far too long.

He didn't see Dee but he was excited to see Rekker, oblivious, getting something out of the trunk of his car. Eli couldn't resist sneaking out of his car and coming up to slap the ginger hard on the ass. He knew to step back and dodge the Brit after years of harassing him. Rekker rolled his eyes and let our a breath when he saw who it was. Surprised it wasn't Bjorn but also not surprised to see Dee's little brother standing there.

"Come on!" Eli jested. "You're getting older but not uglier."

Rekker let out another breath as he slung the bag on his shoulder and closed the trunk. "Fucking stop."

The younger man leaned into the Brit giggling. "Do you got another blonde that keeps you on a leash?"

"I'm not on anyone's damned leash." Rekker started walking toward the apartment building with Eli catching up easily.

"You're so grouchy. I know you've got someone." Eli put his palm on the door so Rekker couldn't open it. "Or are you like this because you haven't had anyone to suck the bastard out of you lately?"

Rekker yanked the door open. "He'll kick your fucking ass for saying shit like that."

Eli was about to say something, paused while processing what Rekker said, then started to cackle with laughter. "Did Devon and I finally get to you?"

"No." Rekker snapped as he headed for the elevator.

"You know you like us." Eli blossomed into a huge, teasing grin.

"It's not my fault if you get slapped in the face talking like this." Rekker could only imagine Bjorn's reaction as he stepped into the elevator, Eli following and standing way too close for comfort.

"You don't scare me, you devil." Eli winked at him and Rekker wondered what he did to deserve this. He was carrying too much to stop the arm snaking around his waist and Eli leaning into his bicep. Rekker wasn't one to pray but he was praying as the elevator came to a stop and the door started to open. He prayed to everything in the universe that someone other than Bjorn, anyone other than Bjorn was standing in the hallway.

"Oh, a frilly cocktail just for me? You shouldn't have! It's adorable and let me see how it tastes."

Ragnar giggling girlishly as he sipped on it, loving the bubbles hitting his tongue. Eli was such a cute boy. The Swede leaning over to press a kiss to his cheek, blushing a little at the cute gesture.

"You're a very sweet boy."

This was the truth.

Eli's smile faded when he felt the kiss on his cheek. It made him feel way too many things and he's far too drunk now to contain this kind of emotional tidal wave. He wanted it to be Rekker and at the same time was so mad at the Brit and he just wanted contact because his heartached so much more than he was letting on.

All of those thoughts passed Ina second, before Ragnar even pulled away. Eli turned just in time to catch a kiss, or really just a brush of his lips on the Swede's. Far beyond everything else, Eli was just hurting that Rekker never noticed him and the wasted time here and there was weighing on him and he felt really lonely all the sudden. The heavy drinking he was doing certainly wasn't helping any of his thoughts either.

Ragnar felt Eli kiss him on the lips just briefly but it was still an attempt at a full mouth kiss and that was what mattered. It meant the American had interest in him even through his drunken state.

"Thank you."

The words hopefully getting through to Eli because Ragnar could still see how upset he was over the whole thing with Rekker. The Swede putting some more food onto his plate and hoping that Eli wouldn't get too depressed through the amount of booze he was drinking.

"Now, back to my food and I shall be more careful with the lime."

Eli was quiet for a bit, picking at his food and mostly drinking. He probably should stop but he has no interest in being sober in the next.. days.

"What do you want to do after this?" Eli had no interest in going back to those apartments so it was time for an all night bender.

"We could always go to a bar and enjoy each other's company."

A polite way of saying let's drink and get trashed on booze. Drinking the night away sounded like a fun idea and Ragnar didn't want to head back to the apartments, not after his row with Bjorn.

"Perhaps I could be a pretty distraction?"

The words were said with playfulness.

"First." Eli lifted a new bottle of wine to the table space between them. "We have to finish this."

This was bottle three and Eli had drank most of the others. He was well and truly drunk.

"Are you flirting again?" He wasn't sure how he felt about it. The flirting felt good but also pulled at the strings of his feelings since he still kinda wished it was Rekker that flirted with him.

"Of course. I wouldn't dream of leaving without finishing all these bottles of wine and plates of delicious food."

Ragnar smiled and touched Eli's cheek. Even if the man was still pining for that ginger---the guitarist could at least try to cheer him up. Besides, the Swede liked the American and his roguish roughness.

"Your nose ring is cute. Has anyone told you that?"

Maybe Ragnar was flirting a little.

Eli went to fill Ragnar's wine glass and almost spilled wine. He was more intoxicated than he thought but didn't care. The touch feels nice and he starts to laugh because fuck Rekker and his line of blonde whores.

"No." He shook his head since most people didn't really like the chain. "Do they have them back in.. where ever the hell it was you're from?" Eli couldnt remember what country Ragnar had mentioned

"Well, it is cute and I'm happy I get to be the first boy to say so."

Ragnar sipped on his wine then forked some chicken into his mouth, chewing slowly. Of course the American was now too drunk to remember what had been said back in the elevator. Ragnar didn't mind telling Eli where he was from.

"Sweden. I'm from Stockholm originally. That's the capital of my country and yes, we do have jewellery adornments like yours."

Eli was starting to pick at the chicken now too and grinned. "Do you always go around kissing men with nose chains?"

It would be funny if Ragnar did, especially since Eli didn't Eeven know anyone else who wore one.

"No, not really. Only those who are hot and handsome like you, bad boy."

Ragnar giggled at his own nickname for Eli as he finished off his glass of wine and wiggled it playfully at the American for a top up. He was getting more drunk and could feel his cheeks redden a little more.

"My last boyfriend was a rock climber and teacher of outdoor sports. I like strong, rough men."

The Swede moving in to kiss Eli's cheek once more.

"Well, you're not the first person to call me that."

Bad boy, punk, delinquent.. he'd heard all of those and more. He went to pour more wine and was having a hard time pouring. "That sounds like Devon. Dee told me there was a girly boy after him, was it you?"

It was a question that made sense in his head but he wasn't sure it did when he said it. That cheek kiss though... Eli put down the wine bottle and pressed a kiss to Ragnar's lips, almost missing because he was drunk. Then he went back to finally pouring that glass of wine.

"Here, let me."

Ragnar helping steady Eli's hand with the bottle because the man was drunk. How much had he drunk? A hell of a lot more than the Swede by the looks of things but then Eli was emotional and angry. The question got him frowning.

"What? No, that wasn't me, darling. I believe you are referring to Lars? He is the blond drummer for Blixt who has eyes for Devon. He is in bed with Torden also."

The Swede assumed so from what he'd heard. But then--oh! That kiss. Ragnar squeaked a little because the kiss felt nice.

Eli got a little wide eyed at the person after Devon. "Oh fuck." Eli started laughing. "Devon barely likes dating one person let alone being in a throuple."

Once Ragnar's glass was full he took to drinking right out of the wine bottle. Who cared?

"Don't worry, it's ok. There are many on this tour I still haven't met yet."

Ragnar had spoken to a few but not all and wondered how it worked with Lars being with Torden and lusting after Devon too. Ah well, as long as everyone was happy. The Swede finished his plate and set his cutlery into the middle neatly. Eli though---he might need to be called the limo back if he got too trashed.

"I've never been involved with a threesome either and would never want to."

Eli was still picking at the food but noticed the wine bottle was empty so he called over a waitress to box up the food and bring a check so they could pay and go to the bar.

"I've almost been in one." Eli was finishing off the bottle of wine while he spoke. "I made out almost naked with Rekker and Devon once. They used to be drunken and sleazy." Drunk, his mouth was running about things he usually didn't mention. "Rekker's a better kisser but Devon's a sweetie too."

"I've never been interested in being in one. They don't appeal to me as I am quite picky with who I share my bed with."

Ragnar was prissy and fussy which most knew being around the guitarist. Eli though---he seemed much more reckless and obviously had history with his American friends. Some of the details he didn't really wish to hear.

"I don't know either of them at all but I'll take your word for it."

The Swede shrugged, not interested really since he didn't wish to know Eli's sexual past with his ginger friend. Devon---he hardly knew at all. Was there a hint of jealousy in Ragnar's voice? Perhaps. He was a tarty bitch and couldn't help it.

"I'm not really picky." Eli shrugged. "Im happy with who ever and if they don't stick around then it's not a big deal."

Eli didn't so much h date as sleep with people for an extended period of time until someone got bored and left. He's too drunk to hear the jealousy and busy paying up so they can go to the bar.

"Are you too prissy to carry the food to the car?" He smiled and patted Ragnar's shoulder, giving his hair a tug before standing up to go. He's wavering a little but shakes it off a bit. He's still upright so obviously he needed more to drink.

"I'm picky and would rather spent time with someone than just sleep with them for a one night stand or whatever. It just seems crass and rude to me."

Ragnar differed to Eli in this regard, yet it didn't put the Swede off from wanting to date the American because he was beginning to really like him. The hair tug got a small squeal because he wasn't used to anyone doing this.

"You cheeky thing."

The guitarist giggled and began helping carry the food to the car because they had quite a bit. Eli was in no fit state to drive though because he was drunk.

"None of us will be in any fit state to drive back so maybe we can leave the car here and get the limo to pick us up later?"

"I'd rather just fuck and not deal with the controlling bullshit down the rode when people start thinking you belong to them." Eli was being honest and probably revealing a lot about his own relationship past.

He shrugged as he walked with Ragnar out to the car. "I'm fine to drive. I've been on the rode after more than this."

"I've never had anyone try to control me because otherwise they'd face the sharp end of my boot. A true loving relationship can feel wonderful though. It sounds like you've had a lot of assholes in the past."

Not that the Swede knew. He was just making assumptions here and found it sad Eli saw it this way.

"Alright, if you say so. If you need a break though, let me know."

"Then the world is filled with assholes." Eli's outlook on dating and love were very jaded and the heartache he was trying to keep swallowed down wasn't helping.

"I'll be fine." Eli got in the car and fished out the keys from his pocket and then spent a couple minutes just trying to get the key in the ignition. Eventually he dropped the keys in the car somewhere.

"SHIT." He looked down at the dark floorboards and gave up. "Maybe we'll just sit here a minute."

"Not everyone is an asshole, darling."

Ragnar didn't want to dampen the mood further or make Eli dwell on the past so just sat with the man and hoped he wouldn't spiral downwards even more. Right now though---he was too drunk to drive surely. Bending down, Ragnar picked the keys up but didn't give them back immediately.

"You are drunker than you think. Driving like this is dangerous since you can hardly put them into the ignition."

Eli didn't mind that Ragnar took his keys. Dee did it too.

"That's why I'm going to sit here a minute and sover up." He leaned the seat back a little and rubbed his eyes. He didn't feel that drunk but he did notice tingling in his fingers from all the booze

Ragnar wasn't giving Eli the keys back anytime soon because the American was too drunk to drive. They could wreck and the Swede didn't want to be part of that nor be the cause of Dee's brother to be injured.

"Yes, that's a good idea, darling. I'm in no rush because I want to be with you."

This was the truth as he gently stroked Eli's arm.
