Dee sighed. "More than you can love Rekker." There was no sense in dancing around that truth. "My brother is.. he's liked Rekker for a long time. Walking in and learning that he's getting married, I doubt Eli is thinking clearly."
Dee offered Bjorn a one armed hug. "Rekker loves you and I'm sure Eli will sort himself out with some time to think."
Eli hadn't glanced back at all and was heading straight across the parking lot to his car. He should have never came out here. He should have known better. He got into his car and didn't even close the door. He just slumped there in the seat trying to get control of what he was thinking and feeling.
