Eli had no idea who most of these people were and tried to keep track of the names in case he needed to know in the future.

The question though got a scowl and Eli snapped. He couldn't help it because he was still in an emotional tide over everything he had learned. "I'd rather get hit by a fucking car than have a drink with you."

He tried to rein in his mood but he couldn't, even when he rationally knew Bjorn had done nothing wrong. "My mood is your fault."

Even if it was surly, the answer was honest. Bjorn was causing his less than cheerful mood.
